Grassmere's Mr. Unique

We purchased Unique in February 2007 as an addition to our modern breeding program.  His refined bone structure, pretty head, tiny ears, and long neck were all desired traits we were looking for to cross with our moderns.  Over time it became very obvious that Unique was too small to breed to our larger mares.  After some serious thinking, we decided that the next phase in Unique’s life should be the opportunity to breed to ponies more his size.  Sandy Nichols took a good hard look at Unique and decided with his great confirmation, size and show accomplishments that he would be a great asset to her breeding program.  He will soon be registered AMHR.  We wish Unique all the best and I bet he is glad his time enduring the winter season in Indiana is over.
